Present simple passive

Structure of the Present Simple Passive 

Explain that in the present simple passive:

ü The verb "to be" is used in the present simple form (am, is, are).
ü The main verb is in the past participle form (V3).

Active

1- They clean the streets every morning.
2- They print the books in many languages.
 

Passive

1- The streets are cleaned every morning.
2- The books are printed in many languages.

Past simple passive

Structure of the Past Simple Passive 

Explain that in the past simple passive:

ü The verb "to be" is used in the past simple form (was/were).
ü The main verb is in the past participle form (V3).

Active

1- She cleaned the room.
2- They played football in the park.
3- They delivered the packages yesterday.
 

Passive

1- The room was cleaned.
2- Football was played in the park.
3-The packages were delivered yesterday.
