Future Forms for Predictions
صيغة المستقبل للتنبؤات
We use will: (Function)
A) To make predictions based on our opinions or expectations.
We often use will with phrases like:
I think, I’m sure, I expect, I hope or adverbs like possibly, probably, definitely...
Examples:
He’ll probably be late, as usual.
I’m sure you won’t have any problems with it.
I expect they will get the best marks in their final exam.
B) To express a decision made at the moment of speaking:
Examples: On second thoughts, I think I’ll leave it till the weekend.
Oh, someone is knocking at the door. I’ll see who it is.

- She’s going to get high marks. (She’s studying really hard these days.)
- Based on the traffic reports, we’re going to be late for the meeting if we don’t leave now.
- The clouds are thickening, so it looks like it’s going to rain soon.
- He’s been saving money for months, he’s going to buy a new car next week.
