Relative Clauses
We use relative clauses to give important information about a person, place, or thing. This extra information helps us understand exactly who or what we are talking about. |

It is used to refer to people
"The girl who is wearing a red dress is my sister."
► Which
It is use to refer to animals and objects
"The book which I read yesterday is very interesting."
► Where
It is used to refer to the place
"This is the park where we play every day."
► That
It is use to refer to people, animals. It can replace WHO or WHICH
"The car that is parked outside belongs to my teacher."
Examples:
1. People:
"The girl who is singing is my sister."
(Who is singing? The girl!)
2. Things:
"The book which I borrowed is amazing."
(Which book? The one I borrowed!)
3. Places:
"This is the park where we play."
(Which park? The one where we play!)
