Amman - Disrupted relations between parents, the large number of jobs and social obligations, and most importantly the economic pressure experienced by the Jordanian individual, are all factors that affect children and their educational attainment.
A recent British educational study confirmed that "the social environment in which the student lives occupies a prominent place in the educational process, and the Japanese students' superiority in science and mathematics has aroused the interest of many educators worldwide. their children, parents' constant motivation for their children, and time for family homework."
And about the severe psychological pressure described by Khaldoun Abdullah (17 years old),He says, "I and my brothers are required to succeed, excel, and attain high education. My family always tells me that studying is the most important thing for a person and is the key to success, and whoever excels in his studies will be superior in everything."
However, Khaldoun pauses at the phrase, “A person who excels in studies is a person who excels in everything.” He is surprised that he does not find his relatives excelling in their marital life, not even in their work. What made life boring and many problems prevailed.

As for the student, Dana Kamal, she found that the life she lives with her family makes her hate life and study, and she is unable to focus on what is required of her to be a distinguished student and carry out her tasks to the fullest. She decided to speak frankly with her parents, saying, "I sat with them and asked them what do they want from me when I am a student?" And without problems."

Indeed, the behavior of her family changed, as she described it, and the interest in her became more, and she felt that she had returned to her vitality, academic activity, and love for family activities, which brought her family closer to her.
The sociologist, Dr. Muhammed Jarebi’, that the educational achievement of students is greatly affected by the circumstances that surround the student, the most important of which is the family matter, and there are a number of factors and family characteristics that contribute to the level of achievement, and among these factors is the student’s social and economic status. Jaribae stresses that the stability of the family greatly affects the academic achievement of children, and the stability and solidarity of the family are among the factors that also affect the level of student achievement.

He points out that there are many studies that show that students who suffer from a low level of educational attainment belong to families that suffer from family disputes and problems and socially disjointed families.
And he confirms that the harsh and extremist treatment of children confirms that it is a main reason for the presence of students who are not diligent and exhausted by their social conditions.
The educational counselor in a private school, Raya Khalil, indicates that one of the things that most affect a student's life is the "family situation", especially for students in adolescence, Distraction, lack of resourcefulness, and aggressiveness are the dominant traits. After studying the case, calling the parents, and talking with them to discuss the student’s condition, the main reason is the distance between the parents and the student, the large number of family disputes, and the lack of interest in children due to the existence of differences, which is reflected in the student’s achievement level.
As for the parents’ reactions, according to Khalil, the economic situation dominates the family’s thinking, which makes the parents pant after the children’s needs and reduce high financial obligations. The effect of this is the abundance of disagreements between the parents, and what is due to pressure on the children.

She confirms that parents' encouragement of their children affects their educational attainment and is increasing, indicating that encouragement and motivation are not limited to young children, but rather to adults in order to achieve high academic results at the end of the year.
While a psychologist, Dr. Musa Matarneh, that the poor psychological condition greatly affects the individual, especially the student, as their age is young, and their responsibility to permanently improve and control educational attainment makes them highly responsible and under great psychological pressure.

Some parents place the responsibility for raising their children on the school and disavow any role towards the son. This means that there are no deep ties and links between the parents of the students and the teachers.
He stresses that the tension of the home atmosphere greatly affects the student's psyche, and thus affects him with greater aggression, lack of responsibility, nervousness, and sometimes parental disobedience as a response to what his parents have done of neglect and severe tension in the relations between them.
