Unit 5 LESSON 6A SPEAKING
This lesson teaches students how to talk about personal preferences in English. It covers useful phrases for asking about preferences, such as “Which would you prefer…?” and “What would you rather do…?”. Learners also practice expressing general likes and dislikes, including phrases like “I prefer reading to watching TV.” The lesson explores how to make clear choices, using expressions such as “I’d rather…” or “I’d go for… any day.” In addition, students learn polite ways to let others decide, like “It’s your call” or “Whatever you prefer.” The goal is to build confidence in expressing choices naturally in conversation.
