There are two "th" sounds, like two special friends!

يوجد نوعان من صوت "th"، مثل صديقين مميزين!

Both friends need your tongue to peek out between your teeth

.كلا الصديقين يحتاج أن يكون لسانك قليلاً بين أسنانك.

كيفية نطق صوت "th"

Put the very tip of your tongue between your two front teeth.
ضع طرف لسانك بالضبط بين أسنانك الأمامية.

Don't bite it, just let it peek out a little.
لا تعضه، فقط دعه يطل قليلاً.

Now, gently blow air out of your mouth.
الآن، انفخ الهواء برفق من فمك.

If you make the air sound, like in “think,” it's a quiet “th.”
إذا أصدرت صوت هواء فقط، كما في كلمة think (يفكر)، فهو "th" هادئ.

If you make a humming sound, like in “this,” it's a buzzing “th.”
إذا أصدرت صوت طنين (همهمة)، كما في كلمة this (هذا)، فهو "th" يهتز.

Try looking in a mirror to see your tongue!
حاول أن تنظر في المرآة لترى لسانك!

The “th” sound is like a little secret!
صوت "th" يشبه سراً صغيراً!
