Mrs. Alhaddad, presumably a teacher or the play director, arrives and helps the children. She instructs Katy and Hamed to stay there and offers her assistance. She then asks Millie and Katy to bring other pieces of scenery from backstage. Finally, the children are shown looking at three pieces of scenery, trying to decide which one to use.
