PERSONAL QUALITIES AND BEHAVIOUR

Adjective

Meaning

Bigoted

unfairly biased against specific ideas or groups.

Capable

Having the ability, skill, or qualities necessary to do something effectively.

Charming

Pleasant and attractive, able to win people over easily.

Compassionate

Showing deep concern and empathy for the suffering of others.

Conceited

Having an overly high opinion of oneself.

Decent

Honest and morally good; fair.

Dedicated

Committed and devoted to a task or cause.

Defensive

to protect someone or something against attack

Hypocritical

saying that you have particular moral beliefs but behaving in a way that shows these are not sincere

Idealistic

believing that very good things can be achieved, often when this does not seem likely to other people

Immature

not behaving in a way that is as calm and wise as people expect from someone of your age

Inspirational

making you feel full of hope or encouraged

Modest

not large in size or amount, or not expensive.

Passionate

having very strong feelings or emotions.

Pushy

behaving in an unpleasant way by trying too much to get something or to make someone do something

Sincere

(of a person, feelings, or behaviour) not pretending or lying; honest
