.The Present Perfect Tense

The present perfect tense is used to describe actions that started in the past and continue into the present, or actions that happened at an unspecified time in the past.

Structure:

 Examples:

  •  
  • I have lived in London for 10 years.

 (Action started in the past and continues to the present)

  • She has visited many countries.

(Action happened at unspecified times in the past)

 


Common Time Expressions with the Present Perfect:
