Can anyone be an astronaut?
No, not everyone can be an astronaut. You must speak English and have a strong body and mind. Most astronauts are pilots and have science knowledge.

What’s the training like?
Astronauts train for a year. They practise living in zero gravity and learn how to work in a team. Life in space is difficult. There is no running water, food is dry, and sleeping is hard because you float.

Health problems in space
In space, bones and muscles become weak. Astronauts must exercise a lot. They may feel sick or have headaches at the beginning. They also grow taller! They take vitamins to stay healthy.

Can astronauts play sports?
Yes, they can. They spend time working and exercising. Playing sports in space is different but fun.
