► Second Conditionals

We use the second conditional to talk about unreal or imaginary situations in the present or future. These situations are impossible or unlikely to happen.

 

Structure:

Use: To talk about Imaginary situations in the present or in the future.

 

Examples:

  • If I had a car, I’d drive to the beach.
     
  • If I were rich, I’d buy a big house.
     
  • If I could fly, I’d visit the world.
