Future Forms for Plans:

  1. Present Continuous (be + -ing): Used for fixed plans or arrangements, often with a specific time and place.
    • Example: I'm meeting my friend for lunch tomorrow.
  2. Going to (be going to + base form): Used for intentions or plans that have already been decided.
    • Example: I'm going to travel to Spain next summer.
  3. Present Simple: Used for scheduled events, like timetables or appointments.
    • Example: The train leaves at 9:00 AM.

Future Forms for Hopes:

  1. Will" (will + base form): Used for general predictions, promises, or expressing hopes.
    • Example: I hope it will be sunny tomorrow.
  2. Would like to (would like to + base form): Used for expressing desires or wishes.
    • Example: I would like to visit Paris someday.
  3. Hope (hope + present simple/will): Used to express a wish or desire for something to happen.
    • Example: I hope I pass the exam.
  4. Wish (wish + past simple/past perfect/would): used to express a desire for something different in the present/past/future.
    • Example: I wish I had more free time. (present)
    • Example: I wish I had studied harder. (past)
    • Example: I wish it would stop raining. (future)
