Sample Answer

MY WORLD IS NOT YOUR RUBBISH BIN

I live in a wonderful neighborhood, but there are several typical environmental problems that worry me. One of the biggest problems is the huge amount of rubbish people leave in public parks and on the streets.

Why is it a problem?

Firstly, rubbish is unhealthy because it attracts insects and rats which can spread diseases. For example, leftover food in the street encourages pests to gather near our homes. Secondly, litter is dangerous for animals; birds often get caught in plastic rings or eat small pieces of trash by mistake. Finally, it costs the government a lot of money to clean the city, which could be spent on better things like new playgrounds.

What can young people do about it?

Young people need to start a local campaign to educate others. We can start by being role models and never throwing trash on the ground. For instance, at our school, we organised a petition to ask the principal for more recycling bins. We also started a weekly "Clean-Up Friday" to keep our campus beautiful.

Conclusion

In my opinion, we should all take pride in where we live. To sum up, saving the environment starts with us. Our planet is in our hands.
