Summer festivals in Jordan
The Global Village Festival
I love The Global Village Festival. It happens every summer in Amman and it started in 2004. I think that it’s the best summer festival. There are stalls with crafts, toys, clothes and food from many countries in the world. I like looking at the stall with jewellery, dresses and mosaics from Jordan.
There is a food market at the festival. You can try dishes from many countries in the world. I love the dates, cakes, and spices. The food is delicious!
I like the fun fair at the festival, too. It is very fun! Thousands of people visit the festival every year.

The Amman Summer Festival
The Amman Summer Festival is in July. It’s great! There are a lot of things for children to do at the festival. There are colourful puppet shows. Children can also draw, paint, listen to stories and sing. They can make models from balloons, too!
The first Amman Summer Festival was in 2006. Lots of people come to the festival with their families every year. In my opinion, it’s the best festival for children.
