Unit 7: Activity book, page 37
People say that the best way to acquire language is to be deeply involved in it and spend most of your time practising it.
Students at Extreme English are exposed to language all day long.
Students at Extreme English can:
- join a small group of other students of a similar level
- request a tailor-made course.
A tailor-made course could be in:
- academic English to prepare you for undergraduate or postgraduate studies
- a vocational course to help you with your career.
Students live and work together as a family.
In the morning students will have three hours of intensive tuition.
In the afternoon after lunch, students will visit local places of interest, go shopping, take up a sport, etc.
In the evenings, students will have the choice to choose one of these activities:
- go to the theatre
- go to a concert
- relax at home and chat in English.
Teachers in Extreme English act as guides, tutors, and friends.
Students have to make a decision about the duration of the course they wish to attend.
Although some students come for a week, they make a lot of progress.
Some students come for a week, two, three, or even four weeks.
