Hamed and the New Neighbours
A new family is moving into the house next door. عائلة جديدة تنتقل إلى المنزل المجاور.
The children see a boy who likes football, tennis, and maybe canoeing. يرى الأطفال ولدًا يحب كرة القدم والتنس، وربما التجديف.
The boy says: “Hi! I’m Hamed. Are you my new neighbours?” يقول الولد: "مرحبًا! أنا حامد. هل أنتم جيراني الجدد؟"
The girls answer: “Yes, we are! I’m Katy, and this is my sister, Millie.” تجيب الفتيات: "نعم، نحن جيران! أنا كاتي، وهذه أختي ميلي."
They talk about their ages (eight, nine). يتحدثن عن أعمارهن (ثمانية، تسعة أعوام).
The girls ask: “Where are you from?” تسأل الفتيات: "من أين أنتِ؟"
Hamed answers: “I’m from Aqaba. I’m Jordanian!” يجيب حامد: "أنا من العقبة. أنا أردني!"
The girls say: “Welcome to Amman, Hamed!” تقول الفتيات: "أهلًا بك في عمّان يا حامد!"
