Nouns: countable and uncountable nouns with some/any/no

countable nouns:Nouns that can be counted as individual items.

Examples: apple, book, car, chair, pen.

We use countable nouns with:

نحن نستخدم الاسماء المعدودة مع :

Can use numbers: one apple, two apples. مع الارقام

Have singular and plural forms (apple/apples). مع اشكال الجمع والمفرد

Can be used with words like many, few, several. نستطيع استخدامها مع محددات المذكورة 

Uncountable nouns: Nouns that cannot be counted as separate items.

Examples: water, sugar, milk, information, advice.

We use uncountable nouns with:

 No plural form (you don’t say waters or informations ).  لا يوجد شكل جمع (اي لا نضيف s (الجمع معها

Often substances, concepts, or qualities. غالبًا ما تكون مواد أو مفاهيم أو صفات

Can be used with words like much, little, some. تستخدم مع المحددات المذكورة

 

Countable & Uncountable Nouns with some/any/no:

 

1. Countable Nouns: things you can count individually: 1, 2, 3…

They have singular and plural forms:

Singular: apple, book, chair

Plural: apples, books, chairs

Using some / any / no with Countable Nouns

2. Uncountable Nouns : things you cannot count individually, e.g., water, sugar, milk.

They have no plural: water, milk, sugar, money

Using some / any / no with Uncountable Nouns
