Present simple Present continuous
+) Subject + verb base +) Subject + is /are /am+ verb+ing.
-) Subject + do / does + not+ base verb. -) Subject + is / are/ am + not +verb+ing.

Present Simple : مضارع البسيط
We use the Present Simple to talk about:

Example:
He often loses touch with his colleagues.
States and permanent situations
Example:
We live near the mountains.
Likes, dislikes, and preferences
Common verbs: like, love, hate, prefer

Present Continuous

We use the Present Continuous to talk about:
نحن نستخدم المضارع المستمر لتحدث عن :
- Actions happening now (at the moment of speaking)
احداث تحدث الان (في وقت الكلام)
→ I’m studying English now.
- Temporary actions or situations
احدث أو ظروف مؤقتة
→ He’s living with his cousin this month.
- Changing or developing situations
ظروف متطورة او متغيرة
→ The weather is getting colder.
