These phrases are used to introduce positive information or accomplishments.

2. Giving Bad News
These phrases use "softeners" to prepare the listener for something negative.

3. Responding to Good News
Phrases used to show excitement or support for someone else's success.

4. Responding to Bad News
Phrases used to show empathy or to minimize the person's distress.

- Bad luck! (Common for minor disappointments like losing a game)
- Oh, no!
- Don’t worry. / Never mind. (Used to comfort someone or suggest the news isn't a big deal)
