Hi girls |

Fadia yesterday at 21.57 |
| Hi Muna Thanks so much for inviting me to your graduation dinner. I'll definitely be there. Do I need to bring anything? The only problem is I'm taking my driving test on Friday, so I might be a little late. I hope to have something to celebrate apart from your graduation! Looking forward to seeing you on Friday. Thanks, Fadia |

Do you think you’ll be able to come? I’d like you to come. It’ll be great fun. I (really) hope you can make it. Receiving an invitation • Remember to say thank you (even if you decline the invitation): Thanks (so much) for inviting me to ... It was great/I was thrilled to get your invitation to ... I really appreciate the invitation to … It’s really nice of you. • When you accept an invitation, – confirm you’re coming: (Of course,) I’ll (definitely) be there/I’ll come to … I’m delighted to accept your invitation. (I’m) (really) looking forward to it. – check the arrangements: What time are we meeting? How are we getting there? Do I need to bring anything? • When you decline an invitation, give a reason and repeat your thanks: I’d really love to come but …/It’s really nice of you but … I’m really sorry but I’m afraid I can’t make it. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to … Thanks anyway. |
