Present Continuous Tense (زمن المضارع المستمر)

 Function:

 The Present Continuous Tense is used to talk about actions happening now or around this moment.

 زمن المضارع المستمر يُستخدم للتعبير عن الأفعال التي تحدث الآن أو في الوقت الحالي

Form: 

Type	Structure	Example
Affirmative (إثباتية)	Subject + am/is/are + verb-ing	I’m watching Hamed’s house.
Negative (نفي)	Subject + am/is/are + not + verb-ing	They aren’t playing a game.
Question (سؤال)	Am/Is/Are + Subject + verb-ing ?	Are you wearing a green jacket?
Short Answers	Yes, Subject + am/is/are. No, Subject + am/is/are not.	Yes, I am. / No, I’m not.

 Spelling Rules for adding -ing:

1. Most verbs: add -ing → walk, play → walking, playing 

2. Verbs ending in -e: drop the 'e' and add -ing → make → making.

3. Verbs ending with one vowel + one consonant: double the last letter → run → running.

4. Verbs ending in -y: just add -ing → study → studying.

Examples:

I am eating an apple.

She is reading a book.

We are running in the park.

He isn’t sleeping now.
