"Cause and effect"

Cause and effect: It is a relationship between events or things, where one is the result of the other. This is a combination of (action and reaction). Something happens (a cause) that leads to an effect.

He was ill so he stayed at home.

 Cause     so    effect

 

He stayed at home because he was ill.

Effect                      because      cause

Laila likes reading books so she often goes to library.

Maha was happy because she had a great time in the park.
