The infant mortality rates declined more rapidly than anywhere else in the world- from 70 deaths per 1,000 births in 1981 CE to only 32 per 1,000 births in 2014 CE.

Jordan's healthy population growth will result in a strong workforce with economic benefits for the whole country.
